Our Programs
Ontario: Canada’s Pathway to Global Education
As an accredited private high school under the Ontario Ministry of Education, we provide students with the opportunity to earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with the guidance of experienced and highly qualified Canadian teachers.
We believe the future of education lies in a hybrid model where students take ownership of their learning, collaborate with peers, and receive expert guidance from teachers.
At OIHS, students complete the OSSD through synchronous remote learning, with live lessons taught by Ontario teachers. These interactive, scheduled sessions follow the academic calendar (fall, spring, and summer), ensuring real-time engagement and consistent academic progress throughout the year. Upon graduation, students gain direct admission eligibility to universities worldwide.
Many of our students pursue a dual diploma—continuing at their local high school while also completing courses with us. Others choose to complete their full high school journey entirely through OIHS.
Depending on the chosen program, some credits are transferred from the student’s home high school, while others are completed with us, tailored to each student’s university and career goals. Students may join for one, two, or four years—or simply take individual courses to meet specific needs.
Short Program
In this program, Grade 9–11 credits are transferred from the student’s local high school. By completing 8 courses, the student qualifies for the OSSD. Typically beginning in Grade 10 or 11, the program lasts 3–4 terms (1–1.5 years). With this pathway, students can access private universities in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Germany, and beyond. The fastest and most economical route to the OSSD.
Learn MoreMedium Program
Here, Grade 9–10 credits are transferred, and students complete 14 courses with OIHS to qualify for the OSSD. Most students begin in Grade 9 or 10, with the program lasting 6–8 terms (2–3 years). Graduates become eligible for universities in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., and public universities in Germany and across Europe. The most versatile pathway with the widest range of university options.
Learn MoreLong Program
Students complete all 30 courses with OIHS, beginning in Grade 9 and graduating after 8 terms (4 years). This program provides the complete Canadian high school experience and prepares students for admission to universities worldwide. It is particularly well-suited for students whose families relocate frequently or who wish to study entirely outside the Turkish system. The most immersive program, offering the strongest academic foundation.
