Application & Enrollment

How do I apply to OIHS?
You can begin your application through our streamlined platform. The process typically takes 15 minutes. Once submitted, our admissions team will guide you through the next steps, including document submission and scheduling your interview.
Is there an application fee?
Yes, there is a CAD $250 non-refundable fee. This covers the application review, transcript evaluation, and interview coordination.
How soon will I receive a decision?
You'll typically hear back from us within 5 business days after your interview and document submission.
Can I start anytime?
Yes! OIHS offers rolling admissions. Most students start in September, January, or May—but we can accommodate flexible start dates based on your needs.

Program Options & Eligibility

What's the difference between Short Program, Medium Program, and Long Program?
Short Program: 8 credits in 8–12 months (for advanced students). Medium Program: 16 credits over 2 years. Long Program: Full 30-credit diploma over 3–4 years (Grades 9–12).
How do I know which program is right for me?
Our advisors will help you choose based on your academic history, goals, and timeline. You'll receive a custom program plan after your interview.
Can I take just one course?
Yes! We offer individual courses for upgrading, summer learning, or missing credits.

International Students

Do I need a study permit or visa?
No; OIHS is an institution built on an interactive remote learning model. Since all our programs are accessible globally via our platform, you can complete your education from anywhere in the world without the requirement of a Canadian student visa.
Will I receive an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)?
Yes. Once you complete all graduation requirements, OIHS issues a Ministry-inspected OSSD, accepted by universities worldwide.
Is the diploma recognized internationally?
Absolutely. OSSD is a globally respected credential, especially in the U.S., U.K., EU, Australia, and across Asia and the Middle East.

Tuition & Payment

How much does OIHS cost?
Our tuition ranges are: Short Program ($12,000), Medium Program ($20,000), Long Program ($38,000), and Individual Courses ($750–$1,500).
Are payment plans available?
Yes. We offer flexible installment plans across all diploma programs. You can choose 2 installments per year.
Can I pay in my local currency?
Yes. We accept international bank transfers and Wise payments. Local facilitation is available in select regions.
Are refunds possible?
Application fees are non-refundable. Partial refunds may be available if courses have not yet started, and exceptions can be made in documented emergency situations. Please review your Financial Protocol for full details.

Documents & Graduation

What documents do I need to apply?
Academic transcripts (past 2–3 years), Report cards, Language test (optional), ID or passport. You'll receive a secure link after applying to upload your files.
Will I receive a report card or transcript?
Yes. After completing each course, you'll get an official report card. Transcripts and diploma are issued upon graduation.
Can I apply to university with an OIHS diploma?
Yes! Our students have been accepted to top universities in Canada, the U.S., U.K., and beyond. We also offer university application support.
