Ontario: Canada’s Pathway to Global Education

As an accredited private high school under the Ontario Ministry of Education, we provide students with the opportunity to earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with the guidance of experienced and highly qualified Canadian teachers.

We believe the future of education lies in a hybrid model where students take ownership of their learning, collaborate with peers, and receive expert guidance from teachers.

At OIHS, students complete the OSSD through a blend of synchronous (live, scheduled) and asynchronous (self-paced) courses. Live classes are held in the evenings and follow the academic calendar (fall, spring, summer), while asynchronous courses can be taken at any time. Upon graduation, students gain direct admission eligibility to universities worldwide.

Many of our students pursue a dual diploma—continuing at their local high school while also completing courses with us. Others choose to complete their full high school journey entirely through OIHS.

Depending on the chosen program, some credits are transferred from the student’s home high school, while others are completed with us, tailored to each student’s university and career goals. Students may join for one, two, or four years—or simply take individual courses to meet specific needs.
