Teacher Profile Consent & Media Release – Ontario International High School

This Teacher Profile Consent & Media Release (“Consent”) explains how Ontario International High School (“OIHS,” “we,” “us,” “our”) may collect, use, store, and publish teacher profile information and media for the OIHS website and related school communications.

By submitting teacher profile information and checking the acknowledgement box in our teacher profile form, you agree to this Consent.

1) What You Provide

You may provide some or all of the following (“Profile Content”):

• Full name
• Role/title and primary department
• Professional headshot photo (and an optional alternative photo)
• A short biography (max 500 characters) and related factual details (education summary, years in education, subjects taught)
• Confirmation of OSD-aligned teaching/assessment experience (as applicable)
• Optional CV in PDF format (English, up to 2 pages)

2) Purpose of Use

We use Profile Content to:

• Create and maintain a public “Teachers” page on the OIHS website
• Present accurate, factual information to students, parents/guardians, and prospective families
• Standardize and format teacher profiles for clarity and consistency

3) Publication Scope (Where Content May Appear)

With your consent, OIHS may publish Profile Content on:

• The public OIHS website, including the Teachers page and related profile/CV viewing pages
• If a CV is provided, it may be made publicly accessible via a link or embedded viewer. We may configure CV pages to reduce search-engine indexing (e.g., “noindex”), but you understand that:
• Publicly accessible pages and files can still be shared, downloaded, or copied by third parties, and OIHS cannot fully prevent this.

4) Editing & Standardization

To keep profiles consistent and professional, OIHS may:

• Correct minor spelling/grammar issues
• Shorten or standardize formatting (without changing meaning)
• Request clarification if information is unclear
• We will not add new claims about you that you did not provide.

5) Your Rights and Withdrawal

You may request:

• Corrections to inaccurate information
• Removal of some or all Profile Content from the public website
• Replacement of photos/CV files

Removal from the OIHS website does not automatically remove copies made by third parties.

6) Ownership and Permission

You confirm that:

• You own the Profile Content you submit or have permission to share it with OIHS
• Your submission does not infringe any third-party rights (including copyrights or privacy rights)
• Any photo you submit is of you and may be used for identification and profile display
• You grant OIHS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and publish Profile Content solely for the purposes described in this Consent.

7) Storage and Access

Profile Content may be processed and stored using service providers (e.g., form collection tools, cloud storage, website hosting/CMS). OIHS limits access to staff who require it for website content management and approvals.
