🎯 Fast-Track OSSD Program (Grade 12)

This is the fastest path to earning the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

This is the fastest path to earning the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). It is typically chosen as an additional diploma program by students already enrolled in a local high school.

22 courses from the student's local high school are transferred to the transcript, and they need to complete 8 courses from the Ontario curriculum.

Seven of these 8 courses are Grade 12 courses, and one is a Grade 10 compulsory diploma course (Civics & Careers). All courses are offered outside of the student's regular school hours.

If the student's English level is not ready for Grade 12 English, they may be recommended to take Grade 11 English or an ESL (English as a Second Language) course in addition to the 8 courses.

This program is sufficient for admission to North American universities, many European private universities, and some European public universities.

(Note: Some public universities in Europe want to see not only Grade 12 but also Grade 11 courses within the OSSD.)

📚 Program Requirements

Students in Grades 11 and 12 are accepted into the program.

Since students typically take two or three courses per term, the program duration varies between three and four terms. Courses are offered during both regular school terms and summer terms.

The list of courses to be completed is shaped according to the student's goals.

English is compulsory for all university programs.

Most programs require at least one Mathematics course (Functions).

Engineering and Science programs also require a second Mathematics course (Calculus), along with Physics and Chemistry courses.

For university admission, students need to complete a total of six Grade 12 courses.

Students not considering science and engineering can take elective courses beyond these compulsory courses.
