## IT & Systems Operations Specialist

Ontario International High School (OIHS) is looking for a versatile and proactive IT team member to support our growing international online school operations.

This role combines software development, internal systems management, LMS administration, and project coordination. We are looking for someone who enjoys working across both technical and operational areas and can collaborate effectively with different teams.

## Responsibilities

### React Development

* Support and improve OIHS web platforms
* Contribute to the development of:
  * Applicant Portal
  * Student Portal
  * Parent Portal
  * Teacher Portal
* Build and maintain responsive frontend components using React
* Work closely with design and operations teams to improve user experience

### Custom Internal App Development with Airtable

* Respond to operational requests related to systems such as:
* Create automations, interfaces, workflows, and operational improvements
* Collaborate with departments to understand needs and implement solutions

### LMS Administration (Moodle)

* Create and manage courses in Moodle
* Enroll students and teachers
* Support course operations and LMS-related processes
* Troubleshoot basic LMS issues and coordinate improvements

### Project Management & Operations Coordination

* Communicate regularly with internal teams
* Collect requests, requirements, and feedback from departments
* Track tasks, timelines, and operational processes
* Coordinate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Help ensure projects move forward efficiently

## Requirements

* Experience with React and modern frontend development
* Experience with Airtable (interfaces, automations, workflows, databases)
* Familiarity with Moodle
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment
* Sufficient English proficiency for daily communication within an international team

## Nice to Have

* Experience with API integrations
* Experience with automation tools
* Basic understanding of UX/UI principles
* Experience working remotely with international teams
