# Admissions Process - Ontario International High School

Learn about our step-by-step admissions process and requirements for enrolling at Ontario International High School.

## Start Your Application

Complete our application form via our platform. The process typically **takes 10–15 minutes.**

* Full name and contact information, Date of birth, Country of residence, Desired program and start date, Education background
* Application fee: CAD $250\* (non-refundable)\*

## Submit Required Documents

After your application, we'll email you a secure link to upload:

* Academic transcripts or report cards
* Optional: Letter of recommendation, personal statement
* Language test scores (if applicable)

## Virtual Interview

Once documents are reviewed, you'll be invited to a short video interview (live or recorded). We want to learn more about your goals, your learning style, and how we can support your journey.

## Admission Decision

You'll receive an official decision via email, usually within 5-7 business days of your interview.

## Enrollment & Tuition Payment

To reserve your place:

* Follow the payment instructions in your acceptance letter
* Choose your preferred method (credit card, bank transfer, installment plan)

## Orientation & Onboarding

**Welcome aboard!** You'll receive:

* A digital Welcome Package + Login credentials for your student portal + Orientation guide and program calendar + Access to your Academic Advisor

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Can I take a trial class before enrolling?

We do not offer a formal trial class. However, before enrolment we can share recordings of relevant classes so you can see how our teachers run their sessions.

### Can I start anytime?

Yes. OIHS offers rolling admissions year-round and accepts enrolments every term. The ideal starting point depends on your target country and programme — our admissions team will help you choose the right term.

### What English level is required to start?

We aim for B1 level English at the start of the programme, assessed through an interview during the application process. Students whose English is below B1 are welcome to apply — they begin with a ESL support course to bring their level up before starting the full curriculum. The goal is to make sure every student can succeed academically.

### Is there an age limit? Which grades can enrol?

OIHS accepts students in Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12. The right starting point depends on the student's goals.
